i'm told this is now private property. how would you like to have to pay for having this thing demoed and hauled away? don't laugh- its only a strong earthquake away from happening...

did some checking, and this is actually a commissioned USDOT transportation corridor approaching the bridge from the east and ending at the west end. so, i guess we taxpayers will be paying for that demolition (or failure) someday. technically, the 'no trespassing' signs are not valid; this bridge still belongs to us. i'm wondering if the bridge is undergoing/passing regular inspections... if we are liable for people still using it as their driveway??
