The little bay, about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Stromness, was a great place to watch the sun go down. The beach was a mixture of rock and sand with evidence of shipwreck dotted about.
When we arrived, we sat on a rock with a wee hip-flask and toasted the end of the day. Magical.
