I like this one as well!

I like the subject contrast between the bales and the towers--modern intrusion into the rural atmosphere. And the angle of sun on the bales is just right.

Thanks very much, Anne and Marilyn! It was actually the towers I stopped for, just before this, when I came across this hay field out of nowhere.

Las fotos de fardos de pasto son un clásico, Ryan.

Ésta es la fusión de las dos imágenes que le acompañan.

Ryan Calhoun on August 12, 2007

Gracias, Erwin. Pensé que fue una transición agradable de sólo heno a sólo torre. ¡Saludos!

what about a webcam on this tower and we all could follow up the production

Ryan Calhoun on August 13, 2007

Interesting idea, Roland, but these towers are behind a fence in a "secure surveillance area" so mounting the camera might be tricky. Thanks for you comments!

But maybe....these are top secret hay bales :-)

Ryan Calhoun on August 14, 2007

Ah hah! This explains all the dobermans chasing me and the black helicopter hovering overhead!

The balls of hay must surely contain full of secrets...!!!...

Ryan Calhoun on August 31, 2007

Fantastic secrets, too, I'm sure!
