I was in St.Petersburg in 2004 and don't remember this bridge.I think they began later the construction. I love this kind of bridge.Beautiful,Marilyn. Ciao Daniela

Thanks, Daniela. It's now a beautiful landmark. Have you followed the link to Usama's more recent photos? Cheers, Marilyn

Nice shot. A bridge, and half a bridge. Like a mother and cub. And nice reflection in the water as well.

Marilyn Whiteley on August 12, 2007

Thanks, Ryan. The ship chose to leave St. Petersburg at a nice time of day for catching the bridge.

By the way, most people will think I'm crazy, but I've just posted a rust photo for you.

Nice bridge capture!

Can be unique point again on Earth, where cable bridges are 'doubled'?

Hank Waxman on August 14, 2007

I'm back to applaud more of your work. You've got this one framed perfectly. It could almost be a still life it's so well arranged. Well done, Marilyn.

Marilyn Whiteley on August 14, 2007

Thanks, Ainars and Hank. The boat captain chose the route, and I waited, hoping I'd find "the picture" of the bridge that had fascinated me the three days we'd been there.

The way so many people visit and take photos that are appealing to me, I won't have to travel past my computer. ;-)

Thank you! My mom was from Russia ...
