my word. this looks like a tunnel with the storm inside.you are so blessed to live in such an environment as this!
Wow! What's most intriguing is how the Cathedral Group is right there in the center of the tunnel-like clear area.
It seems like the reflection of a giant's eye, with the Grand Teton reflected in the pupil!
Very nice shot
this is an outstanding picture and it certainly deserves to be nominated at panoramio's election 2007. congratulations! greetings and good luck
can some one tell me what are these elections about?
Woooow!!! Sublime storm view, deserving, of course, a yellow star, and my support for the panoramio elections!
Cheers from Switzerland :-)
What a sight! The combinating of the storm and these mountains is superb.
Amazing -- I'm adding it to my yellow star collection! And "best of" too!
Nice picture, greetings from germany!!!
Wow. Amazing moment captured. It should be illegal to be so fortunate! ;)
Amazing shot, very cool lighting!
Best regards from Brazil!
Unbelievable picture Ralph, well done!!!
wow ! What a shot !
Greetings from Germany
'better than average' photos? you are truely modest; many of these are the best of Panoramio, best of Google Earth, best anywhere. Good job. it will take me weeks to look at all of em. You seem to 'own' the Washakie Wilderness. I've spent many a summer in the Rockies but never found it. (let's hope NO ONE finds it!)
Actually I did co-author a backpacking guide to the Washakie Wilderness. Perhaps fortunately, it did not sell very well . . . probably because it is mostly the domain of the horse packer. It is too huge, with too many grizzly bears and difficult stream crossings for large numbers of walkers.
