I think so Alan! I had to look a bit harder here. I like, nice shot. He's looking at you! I remember taking a photo of a reservoir (and there just happened to be a few guys fishing). One of the guys kept looking at me intently, he must have been paranoid or something. Anyway, I edited him out...

I don't think he noticed, Martin. The photo before this one was of him gutting fish! Thought this one had more character, if less guts! My usual trick, if I want to catch a scene with unsuspecting people in it (or, should that be, suspicious looking people in it?), is to make sure I get the shot and then, rather than hurry away, I'll linger and look over their heads and generally gaze around, pretending to be completely oblivious to their presence! When I don't hear any protesting voices, I scurry off!

I like that Alan! A nice shot of life as it happens. I'm glad you left the fish guts out!

Thanks for that John. You're so lucky to live by the sea! The strange thing is that, here in Ireland, an island nation, fish isn't as popular as it ought to be! Having said that, there's a man in a van that drives up once a week from Kilmore Quay in Wexford to the Midlands of Ireland, and he does a steady trade from the back of the van. I hope that, one day a Galway and Aran box floats ashore for you to find, just as long as you don't put it to any unauthorised use! Alan.
