I was looking at the Bayfield, Ontario, Canada site information on Google today, January 27, 2007. Some of the photographs are not representative of this village. For example, one photograph identified by a blue dot on Highway #21 and labled "Bayfield Porch" is a photograph of the Little Inn located at the north end of Main Street North, several blocks away. Two of the three photographs of the village's Historic Main Street North are of The Little Inn, which is only one of the many main street historic properties. The third photograph of Main Street North is not at all representative of the village's Historic Main Street.
The information you have provided is somewhat missleading and should be corrected. What are your sources of information? Do you make any attempt to verify the information provided? And what can be done about correcting errors?

I have to take a little offense at the rather accusatory tone of your comment suggesting that there is a deliberate attempt to mislead viewers. This is unfortunate. As you may note these images were uploaded many years ago and the interface to place them was not as sophisticated as it is today. You can choose to place them more carefully as a registered user (note the suggest a new location flag underneath the map) and earn the appreciation of those who have spent time to upload and share pictures. I have had comments from other users who have kindly suggested that a more precise location for one image or another may be more appropriate. These seem to reflect an appreciation of having uploaded images as opposed to statements that these images don't represent the impression you have of a particular place.
Be kind. Respect people's intentions to share. Be careful when accusing them of deliberately trying to mislead others. Share your images so that people can appreciate your views and contributions.
