Hi Thanks for comment, but as far as I know "loch" is Scottish for "lake". The picture was taken from the "lock", "an enclosed chamber in a canal, dam, etc., with gates at each end, for raising or lowering vessels from one level to another by admitting or releasing water". Our yacht was moored there during our sailing trip from Scotland to Ireland.
