Beautiful shot Rich. It looks like it was a fun trip, and you brought back lots of great shots.

Greetings Frank, Thanks for visiting the Black Hills series. This is the cathedral spires and this picture was taken fro a tiny turn out along the Needles Highway. There was just about enough room for the motorcycle and I had to do a couple of U-turns to get to it. But the view from that one spot was just amazing. The clouds and sunlight made the scenery ever changing, minute to minute. It was a great road trip with the boy on the motorcycle. Thanks for the comments.

Greetings May, Custer State Park and the Needles Highway is a geologic wonder. The road winds through these rock formations for miles and is very beautiful. Hard to imagine South Dakota would have such a wonderful place as the Black Hills. Thanks for visiting and commenting.

Solche Felsen gibt es nur bei Dir in den USA. Und Du hast sie schön mit der Kamera eingefangen. Viele Grüße, Gertrud
