Couzin Fred... I did a little variation on the color but only because i noticed a difference between my memory and the photo that i got. Sometimes the automatic white balancing of a camera doesn't work properly while there is almost a monochromatic ambient surrounding it. My memory remembered the current red while the photo i got contatined a little amount of green that i didn't see with my eyes. I simply wanted to restore the intensity and the balancing of the colours of my memory: my primitive feeling.
