Now Known as MUSA....FYI as follows.. MUSA is the trading name of Cultural Exchange (Aberdeen) Ltd. MUSA opened in summer 2006 and is run on a daily basis by two of the owners, Sheila and Jane.

The MUSA team includes: Head Chef - Jens Feld Sous Chef - David More The building dates from 1880 at which time it was established as a Catholic Apostolic Church, later to be known as “Clapperton’s Rooms”. It is illustrated and described in historic church books held in the Aberdeen Central library.

In the last 30-40 years the building has been used as a banana-ripening warehouse by a long established Aberdeen fruiterer. The name “MUSA” is the species name for the banana plant.
