Mmmm, wonder if a guy called Billy Joe ever thought about jumpin offa one o these

Mmmmm, wonder if the water ever gets troubled under this trestle

Mmmmm, what time is the next train?

I like the peace and almost audible whisper of breeze combined with the hiss of bugs and skimmers, oh yeah, that smell of pine too

Thanks for the trip out Jethro!!

.... and the stink of the occasional dead critter!

Thanks for dropping by Mike I hope things are improving in your circumstances.

I think you would enjoy paddling down our wee rivers in a kayak!

All the best from bug ridden North Carolina

Thank you British it is interesting to note that Mike also commented on the atmosphere, but it something I am (understandably) less sensitive to these days.

It was, however, a fun day out.

Love it!! Those green colors add a warm summer effect to the photo. What brought you to kayaking in creeks? ;)

Cheers from Georgia

Thank you Liam the sun had just about burned off the clouds by this stage.

I been kayaking for 25 years or more, so its a change from inshore and lakes etc. Lots to see (often).

Do you go 'yakin'
