Why do they call these "elephant rocks"?

margecam52 on June 19, 2009

Elephant Rock is a formation that is said to resemble an elephant. I was there for Campbell homecoming...and there were about 20 of us cocking our heads every which way..had to stretch our imaginations a bit...came to the conclusion, our ancestor's had way too much time on thier hands...lol. Really though, it's a wonderful area. Ryan's photos don't let you see just how LARGE these rocks are. Would love to see photos of Lake Killarney though...our ancestor's helped dig the lake.
