Hi Fabio!

I love Roma--but I haven't been there since 1970! Still, my coin is in the Trevi, so my hopes are high!

Goodbye from Swampland, Virginia!

Wonderful Picture!!!!

Thanks, Corey! This was taken with my first digital camera, which my wife found and purchased for me. Secretly I have always been very proud of this picture. Here, interestingly, we have three favorites, but you seem to be the first to like it!

Amazing picture !

Thank you very much, Dya102! We have not visited the site since 2003, and the area has suffered several hurricanes since that time, so I do not know what the same coastline looks like today. I am glad I was able to visit, and to record this memory!

Wonderful scenery!
Best wishes, Paolo

Thank you, Paolo Savini! It was certainly one of the best sights I have ever seen, and I hope that subsequent hurricanes have not changed it significantly. But as you see here, the entire site seems rather precariously perched beside the Gulf of Mexico. I intentionally included the date the photograph was taken in the title, as the scene was fixed in time. I am glad you like it!
