Position is blocked; but structure is mapped at 20:40:42N+88:34:16W (extreme SW of the archaeological site).
You are absolutely right--I think the maps were not so precise when I first submitted the picture. I hope I have the camera position nearly right now. Thank you for your comment!

Thank you very much, Adem! I'm very glad you could visit, and I hope you will come again soon--I found the whole world of Maya fascinating, and I have tried to capture what little I could of it over the years so that others might enjoy it also.

Thank you very much, j.c.! It was of course a very hot day, and all the tourists were more or less scampering from tree to tree to find a shred of shade. We came on a day trip from the original Xpu-Ha Palace, and it was one of the best experiences my wife and I have ever shared. But as with almost every Maya site, it should be visited--and photographed--again and again!
