No, there are no glaciers in Java, Indonesia. But the highlands are pleasantly cool - quite a reprieve from the heat and humidity of the equatorial lowlands.

I wouldn't drink this water, for the catchment includes lots of padi agriculture and plenty of urban development. But yes the environment is special, majestic, colourful and diverse.
