Thanks for the explanation in the "share your moss photos" forum. I live in europe(Germany), and we can get damp, but I believe it´s a complete other level of moisture in your area. :)

Thank you, CQ. And you see that "lawn"? It's moss too.

I've just uploaded a close up of a typical Vancouver lawn in winter.

Hi, this photo and a few others in the same area seem to appear in my business profile, and seem to be associated with a bus stop in my area. Is it possible that these photos have been mis-tagged? Or maybe they can be removed, as they don't really refect the beauty of the neighbourhood.
Sorry I don't know more about Panorama, but they do seem to be associated with my profile and I can't seem to remove them.
Here is the link: http://maps.google.ca/maps/place?ftid=0x5485e6f666e49dad:0x2e666f41084788bc
Please let me know if I am misunderstanding something, or if the photos can easily be removed.
That would be much appreciated. many thanks.

Hi GBF86. I've received your message. I cannot contact you directly unless you upload at least one photo.
You should understand that I do not have any control over how Google uses my images. I didn't upload them for that purpose. I don't know how they got associated with your profile either. And I'm sorry it is not to your liking. You might try writing to Google and see if they can explain how the process works.
I think the mossy roof is beautiful, and I did my best (to the limits of my ability) to show how lovely a moss roof is, although I do understand that some homeowners find the moss to be a toublesome issue. The photo and this charming little house are typical of the area in the rainy months, I think.
All I can suggest is that you are welcome to take your own photos and add them to Panoramio. Perhaps they will supplant the photos you don't like, I'm not sure.

Hi O.KIRK! :) I don't see this as untidy at all! They should see my garage!

Nawitka, thanks for explaining the google thing for me. It wasn't so much the mossy roof photo, but the other photos along with it ie. there was a pic of a bike discarded in a ditch and another pic of a backhoe demolishing a house, which appeared to be your photos. Together these photos come up when searching my business in the Beach Grove area.
However, I did another search today and the bike in ditch and the demolition photos have been removed! If you did that, thank you. The only one that shows up now is the mossy roof which is something that I can relate to living in the area. All part of west coast living for sure.
PS. I have had the opportunity to look at some of your other photography and it is very nice. Your Boundary Bay photos are beautiful. Now if only Google can tag those photos instead! They are much more representative of the area.
Thanks again.

Well, that's good then. I did remove the demolition but I was going to do that anyway, just hadn't gotten around to it. But I didn't do anything to the bike, it's still there.
It's all very mysterious. I'd glad you liked some of the others, it was kind of you to look around. :) Too bad just this one shows up for you, there is a nice golf course shot just a stone's throw away and closer than the bike.
