Hi Klaus and Suerte, sometimes it is worth getting up at 05:30 for the sunset. Thanks for your comments, regards

Hi William, you get up very late, didn´t you? But I think you are taking about sunrise, otherwise the picture would be placed on the wrong side of England ;-). Cheers Klaus

Hey Klaus- you are right of course, it was sunrise not sunset!

Another fine picture, William. I'm sure that this must have been good without HDR but the added treatment certainly gives it a bit of something special. I love the orange line of foreground grasses. Well done again. (Thanks for your visit and kind comments on my gallery too.) Herb

Another absolute beauty William - this area looks so photogenic, so it's great that you are the one to see and capture this lovely early morning photo.

Hi Amelia. Thanks very much for visiting and leaving such nice comments. I live so far from the sea that I have to take any opportunity that presents itself. This shot was taken as part of a commission for a friend's cottage nearby.
By the way, I was having a look at your site and love the Golden Ribbons - a truly photogenic beach still needs a camera pointed at the right bits to make a great picture and you have achieved that.
Cheers
William

I am speaking to a professional then William?
I'm glad your friend asked you to do a commission ;-)
I see I must look more deeply into your gallery to get some hints :)
Greetings, Amelia
William Stephens, on April 2, 2009, said:
Oh dear - I must have sounded terribly pompous saying a commission - no I'm not a professional because they didn't pay me for the pictures!
You'll find few hints and a very strange mix of photos in my gallery but please feel free to browse away...
Ciao, William

Hi soul sister, I'm glad that my picture was like a sniff of menthol! I know what you mean though - it was such a tranquil morning that it just felt good to be alive - and I felt very privileged to be there to take some photos. Cheers
