Sun Microsystems headquarters is built in the grounds of the former Agnews State Hospital, a mental asylum in Santa Clara, California. This building, the Mansion House, formerly the home of the executive in charge of the hospital. In the day this is used as a meeting facility by Sun, but is available in the evenings and at weekends for community use.
