One of my favourite photos, especially as the line of the drape's hem combined with the brim of the girl's hat picks out the outline of a bird directly above the pigeon in the foreground. I'd actually composed this shot before the pigeon walked in from stage right - its appearance in silhouette was a bonus. I also got very lucky with the pigeons in the background - none are flapping or blurred.

love it :)
Thank you Rosina, the story behind this shot (my current favourite) is one of unusual good luck and coincidence - see here.
luck does have a bit to do with it, but you have the eye to see beyond what you think is a bit of luck, and its, what makes great photos :)
a very well executed shot. very nice.
bhatta15: Thank you - it's my current favourite photo. The pigeon wasn't trained or fed by me(!) - I was very lucky.
Luck or not - extra fine shot! Next to the general great composition I like that line of the held up curtain matching with the shape of the prominent pidgeon! YS for this one!
Cheers, Sonny
