Even colour palette! :) I like how You captured seagulls! (are they seagulls?) Greetings -a
This is a lovely picture, Marilyn. Looking at it in original size enables you to see all the details. I love the colour and the distant birds.
Thanks, Ainars and Anne. I'm always surprised when I find on my hard drive an interesting picture to which I'd never paid any attention!
Yes, Ainars, those are probably gulls, though there were other sea birds in the area. They certainly weren't pelicans, though this one was right nearby! I have some fairly close-up shots of smaller birds that I may post someday.
What a huge difference the time of day and the type of weather can make. Here is my other shot of the same beach!
Lovely one Marilyn
Oh I would like to be there, walking on the beach.
Thanks, Bruce and Syl. It was very quiet because this was just a couple months after Hurricane Wilma, I believe, and our group of about 30 was the first "large" group to be accommodated on the island since then. (Much damage was still being repaired.) But oh! it was beautiful!
Thank you. You also have photos of beautiful beaches. I find it interesting what different moods beaches can have.
Very tender colors. This photo looks as oil painting. Eva
Thank you, Eva. The area was just recovering from a severe hurricane, so the beach was very quiet as well as very beautiful. Marilyn
NICE VIEW............ MARILYN.Lewa
Thanks for visiting, Lewa, and greetings from Canada. Marilyn
