(Laetiporus sulphureus). It is edible or not. Likely it is not edible, if it lays not covered in a grass. It is of little use for meal, but to eat it is possible, if the mushroom is young.

Hummmmm I don't think I would be eating it Slava it looks too much like a brain to me :-(( I've never seen anything like it - a fascinating shot despite not being too appetizing :-))

This one looks bit like a young chicken of the woods (Laetiporus sulphureus), also known as sulphur shelf. If it is, it is definitely edible, because if it is not, I would not be writing this! ;-)!

Мозги Внеземного Разума, Борисовна. Спасибо за визит и добрые слова. А по правде, это трутовик серно-желтый (Laetiporus sulphureus). На заднем плане пенёк ясеня ланцетолистного, спиленный вровень с землей, на нем он и растет. Съедобен в молодом возрасте, но не выросший в городе, как этот.
