Thanks Nick for the Y* and like very good of you glad you think them worth the awards.This loco was one of the two Black 5`s that ran on the 15 guinee special over the Settle Carlisle line in August 1968 the last official steam hauled train.The other being 44781 which was withdrawn at the end of steam and cut up :(( Regards Alan

Hi Bruce Its nice to hear from you we dont seem to talk much these days.Thanks for your welcome comments.I took this shot here to get it under the signal gantry befor it is removed this October Netwosk rail are re doing the signaling with Colour lights and re doing the track work,The gantry is going up to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.The siganal box is staying so thats one good thing,Best wishes Alan
