Do you know what Keith, I have never seen Hadrian's wall! Considering that it was 'apparently' built to keep us wild woad-covered Scots out of England, it should be on my list of must see places!

It has just gone to the top of the list! I'd love to visit it. Great series of photos here :)

It is well worth the visit Amelia. The B6318 which runs parallel is a great road to drive/ride along and has many interesting "stop-offs" along the way, or you could be one of those mad people who walks from one end of the wall to the other (approx 70 miles).
