Catharina, Cecelia, Daniel and Sunny were having their photo taken after a marvellous day spent exploring the National Museum of Korea (2006-06-04) when up pop three more people out of the pansies! Archaeology, fine arts, history, Asian Arts as well as donated collections are remarkable and wonderfully displayed - quite superior to most of the Smithsonian's tired out-dated museum exhibitions (sculpture gallery excepted) in Washington. After all the controversy concerning the building of this museum, it has succeeded and is one of the world's finest!

I look forward to your email and the story about your life. I don't think I received it. But I am not receiving your name on these messages, so I am only guessing who it is. Is that you Catharina? You might let Daniel and Sunny and Cecelia know of their photo, if you have their addresses. Lots of love. Ian

This is your Korean daughter Catharina~

Ian Stehbens on September 12, 2007

Oh Catharina. It is so wonderful to be receiving some messages from you. I look forward to receiving more. Have you seen the photo of the lake on this site among my photos? The one that was taken from my balcony and which I used to clone our photo onto? I am looking forward to hearing more about Sunny and her plans and more of your life story. My friend, Renee, who does a lot of the graphic design for me and the college loves the photo of the 4 of you at the Museum. She thinks it is a special photo. I also love it because of the surprise of seeing the other three "little people" in the photo. Happy memories. I thought that Rosa was coming back to Aus. Is she? Did she?

Now if this had been taken in the Emerald Isle I would not have looked twice Ian ;>) and at first the penny did not drop..a most entertaining shot and great title..

Ian Stehbens on May 30, 2010

Hello Stephan,

Sorry that I missed your kind comment - last year. But it is good to see it now. Hope you have a great time watching the football in South Africa.

And yes I loved this museum in Seoul. One of the best in the world.

Warm greetings,

At last someone has seen the little people. Yes I found one of them in Ireland too, a kindly old one88, **Jim, but these look rather attractive. I wonder what they will look like when they are bigger.

If they are as kind as the other three here, the world will be a wonderful place.

I am glad it caught you eye, and the penny dropped!

Warm regards,
