You found a wonderful angle from which to compose a most effective, powerful shot! I'm pleased to be the first to comment.

Marilyn, Your response is understood and valued. Thankyou. I am currently teaching peacebuilding to international leaders, and working with their faith and belief systems is very important, for it has the power to transform identity. It was like a pilgrimage for me to visit this church, and I was not disappointed. But it begged a question for me; Why didn't the League of Nations commit to national forgiveness and rebuild Germany after WWI - a bitter defeated spirit in a nation will surely rise up to something as evil as the nationalism that destroyed the next generation.

That was a disastrous historic blunder. It is a blessing to the world that there are some people like you trying to teach others to avoid repeating it.

A precious shot Ian, very beautiful... My very best wishes, Edmundo

Thank you, Edmundo. You will get a sense of the power of this for me, from the little interchange with Marilyn, above. Grace and forgiveness are not debatable or negotiable elements of Christianity.
