The present-day building was constructed in 1913, replacing the original mill constructed on this site in 1883. This historic site has the 1913 mill itself, the 1890s Murray & Minges General Store, the 1880s Wheathouse, used as an exhibit gallery, the 1913 John Murray House, furnished to the period, and numerous outbuildings.
Thank you, apojapo! And you're right, the street light is a bit of a distraction ... I'll take it out my file copy :)
Wow thats a big ol' drop Kevin I would want to be paying attention if I got near there in my kayak!
Jethro, you're right about that kayak business. There's even lots of big rocks at the bottom to break your fall.
Very nice view. Good exposure too. Details are visible in both light and dark areas. I like it very much.
Thanks again, Seafood ... another good product of long exposure at just the right time of day!
