Very strong image. I wonder why you chose 16 secs exposure, it doesn't look like it was dark (or even dark enough...)
But still I like it!
Thank you, Jeroen. I think we have a very deceiptful photo here. It was actually quite dark ... about 15 minutes before the official sunrise. The building is actually a very bright white. 16 seconds (with f/3.6) was the best light I could muster!
I would never have guessed! So it is the blue of the early morning, I was sure it was just a nice color of paint! The sharp leaves in the reflection also don't give the impression of long exposure. It must have been completely windless?
Jeroen, yep, the blue is a reflection of the surroundings. I would have never seen movement in the leaves being it was so dark; I was quite surprised at the outcome.
Great technique and feeling with this one Kevin. I haven't looked, but have you uploaded photos from your UK trip?
Thanks Daan! Yes, I uploaded them back in July. I had to created a whole host of new tags but I think the United Kingdom tag will pretty much find them all.
Thanks for the visit - its good to hear from you!
Thanks Kevin, I'll have a look this weekend. Cheers and keep well.
All means are allowed to get the perfect reflection in the a window and stay out of it yourself. I also sometimes use the same method to get the sky to reflect in a good way and keep myself out. This is a good example as to what the perspective tool can do. Good work
beyond technical details, composition is very nice. L2 from lisbon. see you
