"Wiamea's" Near the mouth of the Michipicoten River

I didn't think that big waves on Ontario lake; I thought you can see such waves only into the ocean. Nice shot, the right place at the right time.

I own a home on on the Eastern side of Lake Ontario and I never knew the waves would get as big as they do. Just like the ocean. Great shot!

Just finished paddling Lake Superior's coast from Hattie Cove to Michipicoten Harbour. The seas were never as heavy as this--but what a beautiful shot! What a humbling thing it is to cast yourself onto the occasionally heaving surface of this inland sea.
