Hello © shalom57, thanks for your kind comments. This is one of my favourite shots from Whitby.
Greetings from Indonesia, John
This is a great photo John, very impressive monument, 16th century I believe, how old are the graves there? LIKE, LOZ
John nothing like wandering in a new place with fresh eyes this is such an interesting shot. steve
Hello LOZ and steve, thanks for your visits and kind comments. It is indeed a very impressive place. I am not sure of the age of the Abby but the Church of St Mary the Virgin close by dates as far back as 1110, I learned from the internet. Thanks for the LIKE LOZ.
Best wishes to you both, John
Oops didn't see this on my last comment John. Great capture of this more unusual aspect of the Abbey. Well done, Herb
A wonderful foreground for the Abbey. The softness of the grasses makes a good contrast with the hardness of the stone. It's a scene just waiting for Dracula and I more than like!
Best wishes, Lesley
