Ezen a helyen halt meg Mózes testvére Áron, akit itt is temettek el. Sírját, Petra melletti Dzsebel Hortnál (Áron hegye) tisztelik. Az 1500 méter magas hegyen álló sír fölé a bizánci időkben kis kápolnát építettek.
This is the place where Moses’ brother Aron died and was burried. His grave is also here at Dzsebel Hort (Aaron's Mountain) near to Petra. There is a little chapel on this 1 500 m high hill above the grave which was built in Byzantine times.
