What an absolutely lovely picture Keith
It sings of film all the way through - saturation and lack of burned out pixels etc.
Thanks Jethro. It was late on a winter's day with very contrasty light and I am quite pleased with the result on cheap Kodak consumer film.
So you should be mate, its worth printing this one.
Wonderful composition , colors, and light! Not nearly as poetic as Jethro's comment but along the same lines! Like!
I am still mad enough to be buying and shooting with film JF, and this is one of the results which tell me it is worth it. Many thanks
Beautiful colours, Keith, and lovely composition. And it's nice to see some lime kilns in better condition than the ones I recently posted!
Many thanks Marilyn. I hope your recovery is progressing well.
Beautiful picture. I like it.
Many thanks, RosaMarti, for your kind comment and "Like".
I have to agree on the film. Although I still own two film SLR's, I don't use film any more because of the cost. I am grateful for my film days, though, because they taught me to stop and think before shooting.
In the eastern US, those traps stacked up on the warf would be called pots (lobster pots or crab pots). Do you know if they use that term there?
