Paros Prodromos 01

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Paros is the second biggest island of Cyclades, few miles away from Naxos, very touristic destination during summer, with beautiful beaches, night life and meny facilities.

Inhabited from the prehistoric and neolithic period also, like Naxos, flourished during the classic period because of geological products. Parian marble was the structure of most neautiful statues of ancient greek civilisation.

Beautiful villages at the inland like Lefkes, Prodromos, Marpissa and the charming ports of Naoussa and Paroikia offer a summer-hit.

Panagia Ekatontapyliani (or Katapoliani) of 11th c. A.D. is one of the most important monasteries of Greece and wonderful festibities take place in August 15th.
