I am certain that those of you who have been reading the comments from that very sad individual who had the audacity to leave poisonous remarks under a place of worship, will conclude that hate, vengeance and victimisation is alive and well in Panoramio ;>(

GordJessPhotos Hello Gord's Girl ;>))...Your visit and lovely compliment is much appreciated ;>)

Cockroach Spinner~~~Thank you for your suggestion Slava..However, I rather like the unusual effect from the editing process so I shall be leaving the photo as it is ;>)

tmoj-----I very much appreciate your affirmation Timo..To be honest, I made a mess of the camera settings on my first outing with it..The result is certainly not like a photo as you rightly observe..However, I thought the effect quite suited the subject..It seems that others think so too. ;>)

Gabor Retei~~~~~Many thanks for that Gabe..I have often toyed with the idea of going into HDR, but I think that there is so much I don't know about photography that it is safer to stay with what I know best ;>)

Đåʀĸ-----Thanks for your thoughtful words Si, My take on photo's is exactly that..To portray something a little different in a style of my own..Just as you strive to do yourself.. Although I am not an adventurous photographer, I go to some effort to bring unusual pictures to my site..I do not wish or desire to follow those whose photos conform to a set pattern..

beegood----Well my dear friend, should you ever find your way to these shores, you can be sure of a warm welcome and an honest guide to show you all the best places..Thank you sincerely Maja for your wisdom and kind thoughts ;>)

Warm regards to you all ;>)

Wow! HDR look alike by accident...I'm impressed! It is a beautiful shot of this lovely old church!

ilmari~~~~Like many ancient churches, it was built at a time when those who lived nearby were very poor people, living in sub-standard housing and no prospects of a better future. The community today revere this beautiful and gracious church and their life-styles have improved immeasurably..Thank you so much for your nice comment ;>)

joyfotos-----Greetings Joy, it is a strange result I agree and I am not sure how or why it occurred..but luckily, the effect is quite pleasing, I'glad you enjoyed it too ;>)

Warm regards to you both ;>)

Jim
