I'd say this one has the best composition - works for me, and I'm not bothered by the foliage. I can see where Mr. A. is coming from, but to me, if this is St. Basil's, it's a St. Basils from Tatooine - the lax tolerances in the tiles would have had the builders of the St. B's in Moscow drawn and quartered, rather than just blinded (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St.Basil'sCathedral#cite_ref-16) (which is only a legend, apparently, but not something I would expect Ivan the Fourth to flinch from).
Drats! Cannot paste the url without it getting mangled by Panoramio's interpretation of certain characters. Just remove the spaces: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St. _ Basil's _ Cathedral#cite _ ref-16
"the lax tolerances in the tiles would have had the builders of the St. B's in Moscow drawn and quartered, rather than just blinded".... This is the country of good enough rather than Germanic perfectionism.
