Hi May!!!

I love all these photos from Burren. I think it is similar in some ways to my home, with rocks lying all over. Here the rocks are more exposed, just dotted all across the landscape, and sometimes completely dominating. It's very striking. Where I live, only the tips of the rocks peep out, but they're giants underground...a few large boulders sit on the surface here and there. But I can't take many good pictures like this to compare because the whole area is forest, and all the rocks are hidden until you trip over them!

Ryan, it is very impressing, all this stones wherever you let your eyes wander. On the top of the hills or close to the sea there isn't any vegetation at all, because of the winds, which carry away every grain of soil, that might settle down.

There is a mountain similar to this of limestone near the place where I live.
