Kilver Court Garden with old railway viaduct.

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

The fourth to fifteenth arches (from the north end) pass through and form a feature of a very attractive and elaborate ornamental garden. This was originally a Victorian park and vegetable garden for the benefit of workers in the adjacent factory. It was renovated and developed in the 1960s by Showerings, the cider and Babycham company.

Rosa, thanks very much for your viaducts. Very welcome additions to the group. This is on the wonderful old Somerset and Dorset line, Bath to Bournemouth. Jim

A great pity it's no longer in use. Wouldn't it have been nice to be on the train and see these gardens! At least they haven't pulled it down. Regards, Rosa.
