Greetings Peter..These canal walks are so attractive, providing, as they do, a natural habitat for so much wildlife.

I'm guessing that the line was a victim of Beeching ?

Hi Jim

Probably right! I believe that the line was opened in 1925 primarily as a freight line from Dudley. The passenger side only lasted until 1932, but goods were carried until 1965.
