I like it as well, May. I like how the same stones are used for the barn and the low wall. I suppose this roof is a replacement, probably for an original thatched roof?

I have found many old houses and barns, but they aren't not on Panoramio yet. I put the pictures of my journey in Ireland from 2006 and 2007 first for my family and friends to see. And this barn was from this journey. May
Thank you, Ryan! You are right. I am sure, that the barn was in ruins without a roof for many decades, if not a century or more and only with the restoration they put the tin roof to keep the inside dry. May
