Framed in those leaves... The smoke. The reflections. The beautifully painted sign on the side of the boat... This image leaves nothing to moan about. It is spot on! The lighting in these new images is stunning, Jeff.

These were taken just next to our local Tesco yesterday. The sun was out and I was struck at how still the water was. thanks for your vote offer - I don;t do comps either. They seem like a neat idea but I can't stand the collateral damage that comes from all the other entrants furiously mailing each other. I'm not against it - it's just not what I want.

Thanks for your kind comments.

Elderberries Jeff?

Nice framing and detail in the fire. I once rafted up with a sail boat (In Portpatrick) who had a wood burner going. It was most strange but quite appealing especially if you must sail in those cold waters.

I like the Caribbean myself! :o)

Thanks Jethro for taking time to respond and I am pleased that someone should look at my shots in such detail and give an honest opinion.

I'm too tall to personnaly co-exist with a narrowboat but I do find them interesting as well as the whole history of the canal network and you can't go any distance in any direction in these parts without falling into one.

It may be better in the Carribean and if so I'll let you know when we get back from Jamaica in November!!

Greetings from Little Old England! Jeff
