It is said to be a city of romance Billy - you ought to visit ;)
I have to say that it is over-run by large groups of tourists with their guides, and it was difficult to find a quiet place with no-one in sight. But we walked for miles, and there are some wonderful and largely ignored quiet corners :))
Mid winter might be fine.
Lovely subtle colors and a fine perspective study, dear Amelia, with every detail crisp, as usual. I see you're happily reunited with your Nikon! A lovely group of images. Happy Hugs (O:
Dear Suzi, should we ever meet in Prague, I suggest we get up very early, before dawn, with our cameras, take photos until about 8 am; then keep out of the way until late evening.
It could be most enjoyable :))
This is the first photo I took when we arrived, and I thought it was all going to be plain sailing - but people kept getting in the way :))
I prefer the Nikon for the sharpness, but the second hand Canon is a reasonable standby in the UK :)
Warm hugs from Norway to Oregon, Amelia
LOL! You sound like me Amelia! I hate crowds...especially when trying to photograph:)
Another true work of art from the ordinary! A wonderful perspective, masterful use of light and super crisp shot! Like seems so bland...but will have to do:(
Hi JF, thanks. You would love Prague then - NOT.
We managed to steer clear of the worst of it all for the 4 days; but even at night, bus loads of tourists were disgorged, to snap away with cameras ranging from small pocket ones to gigantic and expensive super-zooms , before being carted off somewhere else. A bit like herding cattle! We walked everywhere, and there are lots of ignored corners :))
This is a composition that really hit me. A great like! River
Thanks River. It was difficult to find a place in Prague where there were no people :))
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply! I often miss comments when I am travelling :)
