Nice detail of this working wheel ~ and a ghostly like like ~ don't ya love it? x
Amelia this is a lovely scenic shot, well done!
I am a wee bit confused though.....is it really a water wheel?
It looks just like it is a wooden wheel, even on full zoom!
Hello Amelia. Hmmm lovely shot here. Very nice indeed. like, Kind Regards, David
I think the ghosts have at last disappeared from the stats Nick. The stats - as a matter of interest - are all done in graphical form! What a ... how shall I say this ... waste of Pano time :)
Thanks for the button pushing though :)
It's a bit like me Bonnie Lad, it works very slowly. There are some drips coming from it which are just about visible on the top right of the wheel :))
Maybe when the river Vtalva is in full spate, it moves more quickly.
Ca canny noo, Amelia
Hello David, I'm pleased that you liked the Prague shots, it is a golden city over-run with tourists - difficult to post an original photo I've found :)
Warm wishes, Amelia
Cracking shot Amelia. It's a very powerful image and there is something about waterwheels that attracts everyone. Is it (or was it ) powering a mill or a workshop or something?
Beautiful photo Amelia! Sorry for my long absence! I'm gradually working myself back into the land of the living!! ;-) It will take me some time to catch up with everyone. But this one I love!!
Neat shot Amelia ... I love stuff like this ... you would like some of the old paddle steamers that they have on the Murray River here and here All the best from Sandy ;)
DRIPS you say? I wonder if that is where I originate from?
Thanks Jeff. Unfortunately it is a bit over-exposed, but I wanted to keep the details of the wheel. I have no idea about the history here, but I will try to find out. When the Vltava is flowing quickly, the wheel probably works much better, but I doubt it does anything worthwhile now except to catch the eyes of the 1000s of tourists :))
Hi Paula, it's great to see you back! I love the love comment. And here's hoping that you'll continue to get back into the land of the living :)))
I was intrigued because it has a platform that allows you to walk alongside it...or perhaps that is closed to the public. Now I see the drops of water...they are going inside the wheel instead of off the paddles. Beautiful shot with the canal curving off into the distance!
Very beautiful and good picture Amelia. Greetings John.
