Good morning Maja. What an image to welcome the day! I don't know if this is a unique idea to yourself, or if you have been inspired. But I recognise it as yours. It's a splendid shot with such rich coloures. Hope you're over your flu? Have a great day.

Good evening dear Si, and thanks! Yes, of course I have been inspired - by the sunflower :) I have many of them on my balcony, they are mcuh taller than me, so when I look up to them THIS will be the automatic result - or perhaps also a bit by Vincent van Gogh :) I am over the flu, yes, thank you. I always get 2 or 3 days really high temperature and am half dead, but then it's over soon :) Have to pop off to a parents' meeting at school.... wish you all the very best ~ Maja

Hi dear Maja couldn't help but read the above comment when it appeared on my page with this shot, and I'am just popping in to say "GOOD FOR YOU"!! you are OVER the flu!! didn't realize you had been down with that stuff...Oh MY I have had something like the flu and am still trying to "get back to normal",,,had the fever for a day or two, that went away but the rest of it didn't..:) Still trying to get my stength back. So glad you are up and out again dear Maja. Take care of yourself. "parents meeting at school" :)) been there, done that!! :)) my boys are grown now and the "parents days at school" are just memories:)) Again, glad you are better Maja.

"Stay Healthy" wishes:)

Hi there dear Sara, thank you so much!!!! Just have to collect a deal of compassion from you: since I am a teacher, I have to attend much more parents's meetings, not only the ones for my two children :)) Today is the first one at my new school, changed job (thank God:), and today I have to introduce myself... keep your fingers crossed for me :))) And of course, the fever has gone and I am well off again, but in my job you have to SPEAK so much, so my voice is still a bit strange - well, Tina Turner made a lot of money with such a voice, I'll give it a try :))))

Big hug to you ~ Maja

Sarah O on October 8, 2010

HelloMaja...Hahah I laughed at the remark about Tine Turner and the strange voice. :)) So you think if she can do it you, well I'am sure you can too dear Maja. :)) Glad your fever is gone, mine didnt last but a day or two, but the "Bug" I seemed to have had lasted on a bit. You certainly DO HAVE my best wishes on your new teaching job Maja. What grade do you teach? Myh oldest son is married to a Elementary School teacher. She's very good and seems to like the career she chose. She has her Master's Degree so she's glad she continued on with her education in College. Yes, I suppose you do attend a lot of Parents' meetings with 2 kids of your own and to be the teacher to others as well. I admire teachers so much dear Maja...dealing with so many personalities much be a challange at times.:)) Heard that from the Daughter in law:)) So glad you are up and out again from the flu...stay well and I send warm hugs to you dear Maja.

Healthy hugs..

Hello again dear Sarah, seems there is quit a gap of hours between us ~ but obviously we manage, which is very nice :))

I love my profession dear friend, as you saaid, so meny personalities, and then I often find teeenagers are not yet as cocooned, sometimes petrified by conventions, routine, society in general as we adults, they appeal to your honesty more than to your conformity. Love that. I am teaching at a high school, which in Germany is classes 5 - 12, aged 10 - 19 roughly. ut you will know that from your daughter in law...

And my Tina-Turner-style voice is changing to normal again without having turned in a singer's career or earned a million with it :(

Have a wonderful Friday dear Sarah, lots of hugs over the pond!
