Some useful information: Climbing Adam's Peak require about 2-4 hours, me and my wife started too earlier (10.30 pm) and we reached the top at 00.30 am. It was very very cold and we had to wait about 5 hours to see the sunrise.

So, if you will visit Sri Lanka again and you want to climb Adam's Peak remember:

  • start dressing t-shirt and short but carry a bag with jacket, socks and guernsey (pullover) so you can dress/undress depending of the altitude and temperature.

  • dont start too earlier (all the drivers said that climbing require 6-7 hours but this is, I think, the medium time for pilgrim families, with children and older people.
