I attempted a reproduction of this photo in the summer of 2009, but this appears to have been taken from a skyway I couldn't access, so I took another of the ground in front of this long concrete-and-glass building. The trees have grown up and there are cars and bikes now parked down here, but apart from a new tall building in the distance not much has changed.

I seem to recall that there was a T-shaped interconnecting corridor and this was taken facing east from that nort-south bridge - which I think can be seen as a white stripe about 120ft west of the pin on the map which marks the corner of this building on the left side of the photo (actually, looking more closely the pin is where the roof steps up, about a third of the way from the left of the photo and a similar distance from the top). The main E-W building was the Admin centre for the University, I recall. I think this N-S bridge may have gone towards Astbury student accom?
