This fascinating structure is elevated above an abandoned brickpit or quarry from which many of the houses in Sydney were built before and after World War 2. It has been built to give access to visitors and legitimacy to the preservation of the brickpit, which is now a frog habitat, preserving frogs that were once commonplace in Sydney but are now found in very limited habitats. The interpretative displays are worth the visit. Cyclists and walkers enjoy this different setting.
