Fly fishing is a popular activity on The River Avon at Fordingbridge.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here nearly 30 years ago. We didn't find any time then for fly-fishing - probably would now :-(

Hi Brian, it must be a happy marriage to loose 10 years just like that. We spent our honeymoon in Norwich and went back there this year for the first time (over 30 years). Never been fly fishing and I guess I never will as I haven't enough patience. Kind regards Geoff

Hi David I'm still not sure whether I prefer autumn with the thought of winter to come, or spring when everything starts to show signs of life. There is no doubt though that the autumnal colours take some beating. Regards Geoff
