Giorgio D'Arrigo, aixa janina, thank you. The history of this picture is rather dramatic. To make this picture, I had to run much. A small break in the overcast was formed just before sunset. The clearance was expanded and the slanting rays of the setting sun began to fall to the church. On a dark leaden background sky the temple looked just magical. Once I set the tripod, the sun had disappeared and it seemed to me for a long time. By that time already very tired and upset I have collected a tripod and walked to the car through the frozen lake. With half a kilometer away, the sun came out again. I ran back. Found a point, set the tripod but the sun, as if mocking me, again hid to the clouds. And so it was repeated three times. Only after a third of my return I’ve finally managed to shoot this picture.
