This church was destroyed by a firebomb 70yrs ago. But a very wealthy gentleman has left a lot of money to keep this memorial and garden in good condition.

Excellent picture, even though it was taken through the glass !

And on a rainy day, Molldiddlo, you were there, weren't you? :D Sis

Hi, JL! Thank you, & yes it must have been beautiful when new, and I got this view from a rooftop restaurant encased in 'glass'. (PS it snowed wet snow last night!) Theolfa

Curious church. From the outside it looks for a single ship, and very long. The building and the photo, beautiful. Congratulations.

Thank you , Terp! The church was hit by a fire bomb in WW1 so the interior was destroyed but the stonework is intact.

Thank you, Fra! I'm happy you like it!

Thank you, Georgy!

LSD, you guessed it! Or did you read my sister's comment above? I was having lunch in a very nice restaurant with this view. I couldn't resist. Thanks for visiting, Theolfa

I zoomed in and could see the reflection os the lights on the glass. A smashing shot and angle, though. Those builders knew how to do it properly.

Well done, Si! At least there's no reflection of me ;D
