Now you see Jim I like these sorts of pictures. I take lots of these for my own pleasure, I don't know why. Maybe because I am sad about the disappearing sun and I want to capture every last drop of it.

Now I can see that you must be a closet Romantic Jethro to appreciate taking such "numinous" pictures yourself! As you'll probably know yourself Jethro, being a mountain man, the most profound version of this ethereal phenomena is when you witness the "Alpenglow" where the highest mountains can still be getting the last rays of sun long after it's dark in the valleys.
